Flying again to Surabaya

Flew with Garuda, short flight, the snack distributed looked boring. I didn't eat it.
After checked in at the hotel, I went to have dinner at Goota, Tunjungan Plaza.
See the difference between plane snack and my salad?

The salad was fresh and crunchy!

Stayed at Surabaya Plaza Hotel, room was upgraded by the hotel. It was nice, but I didn't like the layout. The desk is usually in the same room with TV and bed. But here, the desk was located in living room. I had to work there because the internet cable was there too.
Just see the picture to see what I mean.
Bedroom

Taken from front door, left side is living room

The desk

The trip was fruitful. I'm glad things went well.
I wonder, when I was flying back to Jakarta in July 2009, I went in the latest plane Garuda had. The seat was bigger and it had individual screen. We could choose our own entertainment.
The plane I had in this trip was small :(

West Sumatera Wedding

As a part of my blog theme, I'd like to show you how a West Sumatera wedding looks like.

Yesterday, my niece got married. I took several pictures with my Blackberry. I posted this topic in my beauty blog because I did a review on the make up.

Take a look at the bride and groom's outfit. The bride is wearing different West Sumatera bride outfit, because her mother comes from Koto Gadang district. I should say my niece looked like a Pakistani or Indian bride :)
The man next to her is her husband. He comes from North Sumatera. Too bad I didn't take pictures of his family's outfits

Her hands were dyed with some kind of hyenna. I could not get the picture of her hands.

West Sumatera culture is full of bright colors (read: RED and GOLD).

Here's where bride, groom, and both parents were seated.
